If I was to buy a new car, my sensible head would tell be to buy South Korean.

Luckily I never buy new.

The Pony is awesome! Too bad we didn;t get them here (although they were sold in Canada). Nice cheap fun RWD little car

They are now basically what the Japanese car were between 1985 to 2005.

The best value.

The Japanese are doing what the American did during that period : slacking.

To be fair, I thought the Tiburon was a decent looking car after ditching that quad-headlight setup. I'm sure old Kias are no better, although they did make the Elan for a bit... I don't think that means much, though.

The Hyundai Pony Pickup was a thing too.

It’s kinda cool.

You forgot the newer Excel! Pretty sure it’s the only reason Hyundai exist in Australia. They’re dying out now, but they used to be everywhere.

Cars come to die where I live. Safety wise a runing pony is now antique, so no questions asked.

Really? We got the Accent, but it was a sedan or something. Or maybe the name of the later model. This was certainly sold to us as an Excel :)
